This past December marked five years of Trav and me battling the ol’ infertility beast.
Fun times.
I definitely have the baby bug something fierce, these days…not a good thing when you can’t just say the word and, bam, you’re pregnant.
Anyway, this wasn’t actually meant to be a Debby Downer post.
It seems as though I’m not the only one around these parts with the bug. I was sitting here checking my email this morning when Arle walked up and the following conversation took place:
Arle: I want three baby sisters.
Me: You do?
Arle: Yes, but I want them to be real babies. Not pretend.
Me: I would LOVE for you to have three baby sisters! That sure would be a lot of work, though, would you help me take care of them?
Arle: Yes. I will change the diapers. And feed them a bottle. And read stories to them. And rock them. And play with them. And fix their hair.
Me: Will you clean the house and do the laundry, too?
Arle: No. I too busy.

God has big plans friend…I can just feel it. Hang in there and rest in His promises. In the meantime, feel free to send Arle over any time this summer to change diapers, burp or rock baby hope=)

We are in a new spiritual season.
God is raising up His House.
In His House are many families.
In those families are many Sons, neither male nor female.
Your’s and Travis’s little family is just one of many families in God’s House, and…
has He not shown Himself faithful and mighty in the giving to you of your 1st Son?
Fret not, sweet Heather and Travis.
God is in control!
XOXOXO

Praying for you. Just know that God will provide for you and bring you the babies you are meant to have. Arle was meant for you and Trav and thank goodness you weren’t pregnant when Arle was ready to join your family!! I hope all your dreams come true. And like someone else said I hope you don’t get 3 at once! :o) You might need to be medicated for a year or two! only kidding, kind of…

Heather, I think a lot of women are in your boat, even though you probably feel all alone and perhaps on the verge of drowning at times. What a sweet girl you have. She is a sweet reminder of God’s perfect timing and grace. I will pray for you and your baby bug. God is good, all the time, even in times like these.

Heather, I love you and your precious family and I know that God has big plans for you! Just keep believing and never lose your loving faith in the one who sees the “big picture”! I know I have told you before about Kim and Greg Villar. They tried for at least 10 years and adopted a beautiful little girl who was two about four years ago. On May 21 they will celebrate the first birthday of their precious little boy. They were such strong examples of faith to me just as you and Travis are! We will all keep praying!

I know how busy Arle is, and in the time at hand she may be prophesying to her Mommy. I love you.

Getting to know your family better has helped me see God’s grace and big plan more and more. You and Travis are such wonderful people and great parents. God wouldn’t give you such a gift if he didn’t have something extraordinary planned for your family. I will be praying for you as you have been for us.

Arle, Arle, Arle…..you learn way to quickly. But I totally agree, much too busy for cleaning and laundry. Your Mother actually read my mind. Brett and I had the conversation right after you posted about how intuitive, perceptive, open and pure the hearts and minds of little ones are and how Arle may know something we don’t know. :) We love you all!
