could of been worse. the kid i used to baby sit pointed at a lady in the swimming pool right next to them and said something about her being really big. when the mom went on to explain that God loves everyone, he said, “but not so much the fat ones, right?” yikes!

We were in Target and my little man Jude saw a man in a wheelchair. Since this was not his first wheelchair sighting I thought we were in the clear. But with his loud voice he says, “Is that a wheelchair? (It was the kind without arm handles. So it did look a little different.) Why is that man in a wheelchair? How does that man get out of the wheelchair? How does that man go potty? Can he catch a football?” I wish I could say this was a private conversation, but with his booming voice I am sure the whole store heard his inquisitive mind at work. All were innocent questions that were burning a hole in his mind, but it seemed like the word ‘wheelchair’ was echoing through the entire store.

This one is up there with the most memorable bloopers ever, though, Arle. I can’t wait for dinner tonight, it will definitely be our table conversation. I love y’all.
