Last weekend, B came to town.
Uncle B, that is.
Trav’s brother, Brett, came to visit for a few days and Arle couldn’t have been more thrilled with his presence. She loves, loves, loves “B.”
They sat on the stairs and “called” each other on the phone.
We went to Deanna Rose Farmstead and he helped her get close to the animals, which was a treat for me since I absolutely HATE getting close to the animals.
They took some time to relax on a swing and discuss the art of feeding goats.
Arle ate her first popsicle. Actually, she ate about 1/5 of her first popsicle and then was finished with it.
She finished off the trip to the farm with a stroll on B’s shoulders.
B must be super-duper-special because he is officially the first visitor to receive a meltdown upon departure. As we pulled up to the airport to drop him off, Arle lost it. She cried and she cried and then she cried some more. The entire 30-minute drive back to the house was filled with distressful cries of, “I miss B!” And, “I need him!” And, “Come back, B!”

Love the pics of her feeding the baby goat! Precious!!! My boys both meltdown when Uncle Jordan or Auntie Jules leave. It is so sweet and sad. The last time we took Julia to the airport Jacob begged her to get back in the car. “Autie Jules, I need you, I miss you, I love you soooo much!” all through tears. When she left she was crying too and she said she cried half the flight back to Austin. I love that they love their family so much. Brett looks like he is a super-duper Uncle!

And Uncle B loves her just as much! Made me tear up to see those awesome pics of two of my favorite people in the world!! AND, her hair is adorable and I love the shirt on her!!! I miss you all!

the pictures of them together are priceless. my favorites are the one of them talking on the phone on the stairs and the swing pic.
