One of Arle’s many nicknames is “Tiny Bit.” She’s always been such an itty bitty little thing and it’s really proving to come in handy these days.
This has been the first season since she was born that I didn’t have to go out and buy her a whole new wardrobe. The reason is that she still fits into the majority of her summer clothes from last year. Her capris actually look like capris this year, instead of high-waters. Some of her dresses are too short but now look adorable as tops. Her6-12 month shorts fit perfectly around the waist and are at such a cute little length.
Here are some pics of one of her “recycled” outfits. This strawberry top was one of my favorite dresses on her last year, but now it’s a sweet little tunic.

These were the only capris she had last year that actually fit like capris. This year, they’re more like pedal pushers (or at least, I think this is pedal pusher length).
Obviously, I wasn’t able to recycle any of her shoes from last year, so I tried to buy a pair of sneakers that would match lots of things. I fell in love with these baby Supergas and just had to have them.

I also have to show off her very first french-braid. I’m having so much fun with trying out new hairstyles on my Itty Bitty Fashionista. For the most part, she’s pretty patient with me and doesn’t get too annoyed while I’m messing around with her sweet, blond locks.

The recycled clothes look perfect. You’d never know! My boys need new clothes twice a season since they grow like weeds and wear them out. Jefferson has some hand me downs from Jacob, but Jacob is soooo active that the “nice” clothes that were Jacob’s are play clothes for Jefferson. Oh well. My friend Christina has a tiny girl who is almost 4 but still wears a 2t! She has things from 2 summers ago!!! Little girls are so precious!
