As a follow-up to the end of yesterday’s post, I thought I would share a few more of Arle’s recent quotes.
Yesterday morning, she watched Sesame Street and the letter of the day was ‘t’. You know how SS is about their letter of the day…letter ‘t’ this, letter ‘t’ that, I want to eat the letter ‘t’, I want to marry the letter ‘t’, yadda yadda yadda.
As we were driving around town running errands that afternoon, Arle suddenly exclaimed, “Oh no!”
I said, “Oh no, what?”
She said, “I lost my letter ‘t’!

On Sunday, when I was brushing out her tangles she reached up, grabbed the comb and said, “Hey! Let’s be nice!”
It’s so bizarre to hear all of these things coming out of the mouth of my baby. Can I still call her my baby even though she’ll be two next week? You bet your hiney I can.

These quotes sound just like her Mommy! I can hear your inflection in every word. Another reminder to mommies everywhere that they are their babies main role models and that their children’s personalities are formed in the first few years of life, always let your words be seasoned with sweetness even when being firm. You’re doing a great job, Heather. Love.

Don’t forget my favorite Arle quote of all time…
(talking to the waitress and pointing on the table in front of her) “You can put it right here!”
Haha, I love that child!

They say the most precious things!! Sawyer’s word for the day on Wednesday was “instructurated”. When Cammie asked him what it meant he said, “You will be sad.”
