How to ruin a good day

If ever you’re having a really good day and decide you would like to sabotage it, here’s how.  Leave a brand new green ink pen in the pocket of your hoodie, then throw it in the wash with lots of your family’s favorite clothes.  Here’s the result…

This is a shirt I bought Travis to replace a shirt I ruined last December.  How did I ruin the other, you ask?  Well, I left a blue ink pen in my hoodie pocket and threw it in the wash with a lot of our favorite clothes.  That’s right…not only have I done this once, I’ve done it TWICE.  I’m pathetic.

This was one of my staple camisoles.  I
loved it and wore it often.  Guess I can now wear it under black shirts instead of the light colored ones I usually paired it with.

Arle's new pants, each only worn once

These are some of Arle’s pants.  One pair worn once, the other only twice.

Please tell me I’m not the only one that does stuff like this.

    Your Mother said,

You may remember when Trenton was playing t-ball, on a team that had deep
golden colored t-shirts. He played all games, except the first one in a beautiful
shade of creamy butter color, because I accidentally threw his shirt in with a
wash with Clorox. He shined in the team pictures, though, your eye couldn’t help
    but see him first.

    The Mrs. said,

It happens at our house too, but it’s my architect husband who leaves red pens from marking up blueprints in every pocket of every pant. Literally, at any given time, he has at least two pens hidden somewhere on his person.
